The Hansom Cab is a traditional English pub originally opened in 1810, named in honour of Joseph Aloysius Hansom, the inventor of the Hansom Cab, whom lived nearby. Set in the heart of Kensington, we take pride in maintaining the tradition of a truly welcoming and friendly atmosphere, for local patrons and visitors alike.
With fantastic food served Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 10pm, Monday 5pm to 10pm, and Sunday 12pm to 9pm, including traditional freshly prepared traditional pub meals and our ever changing specials, you’re sure to find something to compliment the fine ales, wines and beers on offer.
We are open from 12pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 12am Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 10.30 on Sundays. We look forward to welcoming you.
